Hey everyone, Adrian here. First off, happy New Year to everyone. Big 26 is our year to finally crush this production. I’m finally back from Colorado, and honestly it was a much needed break. The trip itself was amazing. We hit Wyoming for a bit and spent time around Breckenridge, Keystone, Fairplay, and Copper Mountain. It was easily one of the best vacations my parents have ever taken me on, and I’m grateful I got to experience all of it. Between the snow, the scenery, and just being away from everything, it gave me time to reset before locking back in on the film.
Now that I’m home, it’s straight back to work. From a storytelling standpoint, everything important has finally been addressed. The characters make sense, the motivations are clear, and the flashback sequence we filmed in Colorado ties directly into the main plot the way we wanted it to. At this point, my biggest concern isn’t ideas anymore. It’s making sure everything fits into the five minute runtime without rushing moments that actually matter.
I’ve started going through footage and putting together rough edits, and it’s honestly exciting to see it all coming together on the screen. The behind the scenes image attached shows a short clip pulled up on my computer, and it gives a good idea of the tone we’re working with. Dark, cold, and tense, exactly how we envisioned it when this project first started evolving.
There’s still work to do, but the foundation is there now. The break helped clear my head, and coming back with fresh eyes makes the editing process feel way more focused. More updates soon as we keep pushing forward. Stay frosty.
