Hey everyone, Adrian here. I wanted to give a full breakdown on the character lineup and early costume planning for our upcoming 5 minute film. We’ve been spending a lot of time developing both the story and the overall look since that’s what’s going to make this project stand out visually.
So far, the cast includes me, Tati, Diego (who was also in Fading Into You), my cousin Enmanuel, and Cesar. I might bring in a few more people later if we need extra characters for the enemy side. The main story follows Adrian and Tati as two undercover agents working for a secret private law enforcement team under a higher chief, Diego. He’s the one who calls them in with assignments, missions that involve retrieving “anomalies” from different locations, meaning they’re sent in to break in and extract whatever they’re ordered to find. Cesar and Enmanuel will most likely play the enemies that we face off with during one of these missions.
You might remember Enmanuel from our preliminary task Slaughter Shed, where he played the masked killer “Jerry.” He’ll be returning for this film in a completely different role, which is going to show a nice contrast to the horror genre we worked with before.
We won’t be using our real names in the film, the character names will be developed once we finalize the script and the main storyline. Everything’s still in the early stages, but the direction is already clear.
Now for the fun part… costume design. This has been one of the main focuses recently because it’s what’s going to give the film its authenticity and identity. Think about how Deadpool stands out instantly because of his red suit and sarcastic tone. That kind of recognizable character identity is what we’re aiming for in our own way.
We’ve gone through different design ideas for the outfits. One was to keep it simple with basic SWAT style tactical gear, but after some research and discussions, we decided to give the characters more personality and visual identity. That’s where Simon “Ghost” Riley from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare became our main inspiration. His design stands out, dark tactical clothing, skull mask, night vision goggles, and the overall special ops look that feels cinematic and powerful.
Both me and Tati will have outfits heavily inspired by Ghost’s tactical gear, combining function with visual style. The plan is to fully recreate the “tactical mode” look, complete with long sleeve combat shirts, vests, tactical pants, gloves, and accessories that match the modern warfare aesthetic. The night vision goggles, mask, and smaller gear details will take time to gather since they need to be ordered separately, but I’m fully committed to getting this right.
Tati’s outfit will be designed to complement mine while keeping that same dark, elite tactical look. Together, they’ll create a strong visual pairing for the main duo.

I will be using the attached reference images showing the breakdown of the “Ghost” gear setup that’s guiding the costume design, credits to the website cited at the end of this blog in which where I found this. I’m really dedicated and excited to bring this concept to life and can’t wait to share more updates on the progress as we move closer to filming.
