Hey everyone, Adrian here. Today was the day me and Tati finally stopped procrastinating and sat down to lock in our story.

We have been circling ideas for weeks and the communication between us has honestly been all over the place, so this activity was overdue. We grabbed sticky notes, printed images, scissors, tape, anything we could find, and spent hours turning the entire wall into a full storyboard. Seeing everything laid out made the film finally feel real.
Before I get into the scenes, let me explain the mission behind the board. We officially finalized our locations, our characters, and the core direction of the story. Things can still change, but this version feels the strongest and the most complete out of everything we have done so far. There will be three main locations: my real house, Tatis house, and Diegos house. My house will be used for the break in scene. Tatis house will be the apartment Adrian and Tati live in for scene one. Diegos house will be used for scenes two and four when we go to his place for the mission details and for the exchange after completing it.
Now the cars. The valuable item we are stealing is officially a car. We have two options. My friend Marcos has a clean red Mustang from the early 2000s. That was my first idea. But then we found out my dad is probably selling my old golf cart and wants to upgrade to a 2025 Tracker Off Road 800SX LE, which you can see on the storyboard. Right now nothing is locked in but at least we have real options.
The biggest update is this. We finally chose the title of our film. It will be called Black Ops Phantom. In the story the organization Diego works for is called The Phantoms. In scene one when Diego calls Adrian, he basically recruits him and Tati into the group. From there the entire operation begins. Their targets are FBI agents, and Diego presents a full folder with all the details about them including where they live, their work schedules, security, the garage, and the car itself.
Here is a breakdown of the scene overviews we wrote on the wall.
Scene one
Adrian and Tati are introduced as two ex military partners living together. They were kicked out of the military for underground missions that went against protocol. One day Diego randomly calls Adrian, tells him he has been watching their history, and offers them a chance at redemption. He invites them to his house for a meeting.

Scene two
Adrian and Tati drive to Diegos house. He goes over the mission and shows them the folder with the FBI agents they will be stealing from. He orders them to suit up and get ready because the pay is serious cash.

Scene three
Adrian and Tati break into the target house since the valuable car is parked in the garage. They take out everyone inside to avoid getting traced. They steal the car and escape. Emmanuel, Cesar, and William will take the role of the house owners.

Scene four
Adrian and Tati arrive at Diegos house again to hand over the stolen car. Diego pays them and locks them in as official members of The Phantoms, setting up potential future missions.

This entire planning session took about five to six hours. Before that, we went on a mission around town trying to find twine, thumbtacks, and clothespins. Target was the only place that had what we needed but instead we visited four different stores first. Once we had the supplies, we laid everything out across my bed and started organizing. We used Canva for the printed visuals so the board would look clean and not just like a wall of text.

Lets not forget when I said that we would be done with our storyboard from either the 6th or 7th, I kept my word. Seeing it all put together was worth every second. I feel like we have our film in a real structure now and not just ideas floating around. This was the clarity we needed.
More updates are coming soon as we move into script writing and begin finalizing shot lists. Black Ops Phantom is officially alive.
