#28 Research/Planning – Revising the Production Schedule

Hey everyone, Adrian here. After going back and reviewing everything, I realized I completely overlooked February when I first made our production schedule.

Once I noticed that, it actually helped solve a few logistical issues we were starting to run into, especially with filming dates and travel.

The original plan had us filming back to back weekends in January, specifically January 24 and 25. After talking things through more, we realized that was not realistic. Diego would have had to travel back and forth to my house multiple times in a very short span, which just was not practical considering how far the distance is. Instead of forcing it and risking rushed shoots or people burning out, we decided to shift the schedule slightly.

Now, filming will still start on January 17 and 18 as planned, but the second filming weekend has been moved to January 31 and February 1. Spreading it out like this gives us breathing room and honestly makes the entire process way smoother. That extra week in between gives us time to review footage, tighten up any weak spots in the plan, and make sure everyone knows exactly what is expected before the final shoot.

Once filming wraps up at the start of February, our focus fully shifts into post production. We will be polishing clips, fixing small mistakes, recording any voiceovers if needed, and then moving straight into editing and finalizing the film. After that, it will finally be time to work on the CCRs, which will be done throughout February.

Even though this schedule change was last minute, I am actually really glad it happened. It makes the process more realistic, less stressful, and gives the project the time it deserves. Everything feels more locked in now, and I feel confident moving forward with this revised timeline. More updates coming soon.
