Hey everyone, Adrian here. Quick update, today’s the big day for shooting our 1 minute micro horror film featuring our killer Jerry. This is still part of our preliminary task, not the final project. Everything’s ready in the garage set.
What’s New:
- We didn’t end up getting the smoke machine, but we made it work with what we had.
- We added a prop hand sticking out of a black trash bag to look like a body.
- A prop knife is stabbed into the bag, and we used fake blood for more gore.
- There’s also a prop chain draped over the chair for effect.
- You’ll spot an airsoft gun in the background if you’re paying attention.
- There’s an old scooter in the set too, Jerry’s getaway ride when he snatches victims.
Disclaimer: Everything shown in this film is 100% fake and school appropriate. All weapons and props are supervised.
We were gonna make a fake “victim list” poster using ChatGPT to generate names, but scratched that idea, it felt like a reach and could get us in trouble.
Cast & Crew:
- Me (Adrian) – Camera guy
- Enmanuel – Playing Jerry (he’s helped on past AS level tasks)
- Tati – Our tied up victim (blindfolded and taped)
All the props are already in the garage, left everything set up yesterday. We plan to film everything today, below I have attached some set photos, mask/wrench closeups. As far as the BTS footage, we definitely plan on picking some behind the scene footage and dropping that after the release of the scene!
Consistency Plan:
This whole look, props, lighting, costumes, will stay consistent across all platforms: the final video, the festival style postcard, and the Instagram promo we’re dropping later. Oh and I almost forgot… here is a sneak peak of the title!
