#13 Research/Planning – Website Update: Tactical Redesign in Progress

Hey everyone, Adrian here. Just a quick update on the new website for our A Level campaign. Development is moving fast and the overall design is starting to match the new direction we’re taking with the film.

For this year’s theme, I’m going for a green tactical look to match the Call of Duty styled 5 minute film we’re planning. We’re now strongly leaning toward that idea and I already have a few creative choices locked in that I want to include in the final film. I’ll talk more about those in future blogs.

The website is close to being finalized, but for now I’ll be using a temporary logo and title until we have the official campaign branding ready. One of the new ideas I want to include is placing two characters from our film on each side of the website, positioned like they’re leaning against the wall taking cover, similar to the example shown below.

The layout will still take inspiration from my AS Level Fading Into You website, but this new version will have its own identity. It will carry the same cinematic feel, just built around a tactical and modern atmosphere that fits the theme of this year’s production. Once the site is live, I’ll post a full preview and breakdown of the final design.
